SlashTable Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SlashTable ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Make Toast LLC ("we", "us", "our").

License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for your personal or internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to sublicense, sell, or distribute the Software.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the Software to build a competing product or service
  • Share your access credentials or license keys with third parties
  • Use the Software in any manner that violates applicable law

Intellectual Property

The Software, including all code, design, trademarks, and documentation, is and remains the exclusive property of Make Toast LLC. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you access through the Software, including database contents, queries, and connection configurations. We do not claim any rights over your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how the Software handles your information.

Availability and Updates

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the Software at our discretion. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Software at any time without prior notice. We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAKE TOAST LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Make Toast LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license at any time for any reason. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the effective date above and distributed with new versions of the Software. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
